The Ott&Matilda Café Guidelines 

A warm welcome to Ott&Matilda! 
Our heartfelt wish is for every guest to feel cozy, safe, and cared for here. 
We kindly ask you to follow the guidelines below so we can all share this space in a pleasant and respectful way. 

  

1. Opening Hours 

Our café is open daily. Please note that from time to time, we may have private bookings – keep an eye on our door and social media for updates. 

 

2. Ordering and Service 

We kindly ask you to place your order at the counter. All food and drinks are in the order they’re received. If you have any special requests or food allergies, please be sure to let us know before placing your order. For group bookings, we kindly request that you arrange them in advance. Larger groups may require a little extra time to prepare. For longer visits (over 2 hours), please inform our staff – especially on weekends and during peak hours. 

 

3. Children 

We are delighted when you visit the café with your little ones. Please ensure that children do not run around or disturb other guests. Children are always allowed to have fun – together, we’ll help create a pleasant environment for all. 

 

4. Pets 

Friendly pets are welcome in our café. We kindly ask that pets are not sat on the furniture (sofas, armchairs, etc.), but instead stay in their designated spots. Feeding pets in the café is not allowed. If needed, please keep your pet on a leash and under the owner’s supervision. 

 

5. Wi-Fi and Workspaces 

We offer free Wi-Fi for our guests. During peak hours (such as lunchtime), we kindly ask that workstations are used for up to 1.5 hours, allowing other guests to enjoy their time too. Just a gentle reminder to keep work quiet and your table tidy. 

 

6. Consumption of Food and Drinks 

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing food and drinks purchased elsewhere into our café. The exception to this is baby food and special dietary products (e.g. for medical purposes). 

 

7. Cleanliness and Tidiness 

Please keep the tables and seating areas as clean as possible after use. If you need napkins or cleaning supplies, don’t hesitate to ask our friendly staff. 

 

8. Safety 

Please take care of your personal belongings – the café is not responsible for any items left behind or lost. Forgotten items will be kept for up to 7 calendar days. For your safety, the café premises are under video surveillance. 

 

9. Respectful Behaviour 

We kindly ask that you behave respectfully and politely toward both our staff and other guests. In cases of inappropriate behaviour (e.g. offensive language, disturbing behaviour, intoxication), our staff has the right to refuse service.  

If necessary, security personnel will be called, or law enforcement will be notified.
